TRAFFIC SIGNAL AND SIDEWALK RAMP REPLACEMENT | 12TH ST S

Project Details/Updates

Project Update: 

For the 12th St S/Main Ave S traffic signal replacement has an anticipated completion for summer 2025.


What to expect moving forward:

  • When construction begins, lane closures will be in effect. Observe posted signs.


Changes and disruptions in the project area:

  • Intermittent lane closures in and near the 12th St S and Main Ave S intersection. 
  • Intermittent sidewalk closures in and near the 12th St S and Main Ave S intersection.
  • No full closures are anticipated. 

Overview

Project Description:

The existing sidewalk ramps will be replaced with ADA-compliant ramps. The traffic signals at the intersection will also be replaced. 


Why the Project:

The current sidewalk ramps offer limited accessibility and must be brought to current ADA standards. The aging traffic signals will be replaced with modern equipment.
